The HSEC Committee was composed of three members with expertise in the ESG field: Dr.Qiu Yumin, serving as the Chairman, is the president of the Gold Mine Business in Australia of the Company and a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists; Zhang Jing, serving as a member, is an executive Director of the Company and Secretary to the Board and Dr. Wang Anjian, serving as a member, is a professor of the Research Center for Strategy of Global Mineral Resources and a honorary director of Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences.

By the establishment of the HSEC, the Group built a sound hierarchy of health, safety, environmental protection and community working organizations at all levels from the board of directors of the Company (the “Board”) to the production workshops at each mine. 

The HSEC under the Board is responsible for leading the works regarding health, safety, environmental protection and community across the Group.
